Fitzroy Square Conservation Area

About This Project

A narrow and tapered gap between two 4-storey Georgian town-houses at No 15 (listed Grade 2) & 16 Warren Street contained a dilapidated shop (of later construction) with a false timber 1st storey facade. This was demolished. Planning and conservation area consent for a 3-storey infill structure was granted in 2011 with Class A1 status. The construction was completed and the premises leased to In-Ku. A facade setback was introduced and an external wall splayed feature was retained. The floor and mullion internal junction detail was raked to enhance facade aesthetics.
